EPAFLEX Americas, the latest venture from EPAFLEX Polyurethanes SpA, has officially launched operations as of April 17, 2023, bringing its expertise in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) products to serve the Americas. With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing TPU products, EPAFLEX Polyurethanes SpA is a trusted supplier in Europe, and EPAFLEX Americas aims to deliver the highest level of service and product quality to its customers in the region.
Headquartered in Italy, EPAFLEX Polyurethanes SpA has established a strong reputation as a
manufacturer of over 200 TPU products used in various industries, including automotive, general industrial, electronics, consumer goods, and heavy engineering applications. The establishment of EPAFLEX Americas is a strategic move to expand its presence and better serve growing demand in the US and Canadian markets.
EPAFLEX Americas boasts an experienced team with a combined industry track record of nearly 75 years. Leading the team is Joachim H. Bode, General Manager and CEO of EPAFLEX Americas. Rhona Watson, Vice President of Technology, will spearhead the R&D and Technical Service activities of EPAFLEX Americas. Watson expressed enthusiasm for the potential of the company’s advancements in Food Safe Materials (FSM), spiral hoses, and flat & pneumatic tubes, which hold tremendous promise for the Americas region. With a focus on innovation, EPAFLEX Americas aims to develop specific TPU grades that address customer applications and unique challenges effectively.
Driving the commercial and marketing efforts is Dillon Desai, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Desai is determined to turn the company’s commitment to “industry-leading service” into a reality for customers. He stated: “I’m particularly excited for the opportunity to translate our strategy into practice.
We have some bold targets like holding dedicated inventory for our customers domestically at all times, next-day shipping for all products in inventory, and maximum response times to phone calls and emails.”
